[2018.9] Surabaya, Indonesia – Day 4

The main view is Mount Bromo!!

Stunning.

With Sambal.

After taking the mandatory shots, we hopped on the jeep and off to the next destination.

Super dusty! Mask is a must!

The hike was moderate, but the road condition is a bit tough as we were walking on volcanic ash.

I was a bit worried if I’d slipped when walking on the slopes.

The stairs is easy as you’ll be moving very slowly.

Here’s the final hellish place. On top of Mount Bromo, an active volcano.

We didn’t managed to get a group photo as there’s too many people up there (got individual ones though!).

Damn sunny can’t opened our eyes.

We decided to ride horses on the way back to our Jeep, negotiated IDR40,000 per person.

It was a wise choice actually as our legs are quite jelly since the Ijen hike already wtf.

Mandatory jeep shot.

Finally, got back to our place and thanks universe our things are not stolen wtf.

Did some packing and the driver came to pick us up back to the city.

We stopped nearby and had Indon style zap fan for brunch (it was 10:00).

We had double brunch at Pondok Tempo Doele (again) before sending one of the travel buddies to airport.

She has another flight to catch the next day morning so bye! ?

The 6 of us continued our journey to the city of Surabaya.

Checked into The WIN Hotel Surabaya at 3 something, the staff were friendly.

However the room & bathroom was a bit dirty……

The WIN Hotel Surabaya

After some rest we decided to go for reflexology ?

Googled and found a place that looks okay but it’s only for full body, too bad.

Google again and walk to another place call Pure Reflexology.

The masseuse are quite professional and we had a really good massage there.

Final place – Tunjungan Plaza Surabaya (biggest shopping mall in Surabaya)

This mall is super huge! Consisting of Plaza 1 – 6, talking about shop till you drop!

Craving for steak ?
Cheap!

After makan with A&W unavailable, we GRAB back and doze off.
